Activities to Excell Productivity in Fasting Month

Assalaamu'alaikum. Alhamdulillah I have cooled off after the Monday incident. Two days were enough for me to forgive the unexpected situation and my wife. This morning I started the day being productive again: cooking rice for my baby, hanging the laundry for drying, water our small garden, and folding the dry laundry from yesterday. Alhamdulillah when I feel positive, I can be more productive and therefore optimistic that I can get more stuff finished. Here is the list of things that I would want to do today at school:
  1. Starting to list the needs for Assembly. Then discuss it with Mr. Adi.
  2. Starting to write End of Year Exam kisi2: Javanese, Social Studies, Civic Education of themes 6-9.
  3. Starting to revise grade sheets to suit the end of year assessment: Javanese, Social Studies, Civic Education.
  4. Writing the learning activity which highlights the learning of grade 5 this year.

Wednesday is one of my busiest days in a week. I have six lesson hours to teach. Therefore I could not finish doing all the four jobs listed above. Even worse, in the fasting month, there is a cut in the working hours, from 07.00-15.00 to 07.30-13.00. Aside from that, I needed to see Zahrana's mother to discuss how to help her catch up with her friends. We decided that we will give her an additional lesson after home time for an hour, starting from tomorrow. Even, after Dzuhur, we always have 1 juz Quran recitation. No wonder it left me with no time to do the listed jobs.

I feel lucky though, to be able to check if there is any list of tools and equipment needed for the assembly, which I found out No. I asked Ms. Rusna after that but she hasn't replied it yet. She might be busy with the day.

To get today's jobs done, I'm thinking of doing it tomorrow. According to the weekly plan, I only have two lesson hours to teach tomorrow. I hope there will be no other things to do. Or maybe, trying to draft the stuff at home by writing it in my note book.

Despite the many activities we have by the end of this academic year, when we are positive about it all, insyaAllah we have the energy and power to get it all done as we expected. Amin. The power of positive thinking is very magical. I'll try to put it on my mind mor consistently. When I have problems, I'll just rest for a while and let my mind not think. After some time, it'll get refreshed and is ready to use again. Amin. Thanks Allah for the endless blessings. Wassalaamu'alaikum.
