Wednesday: Work Pumped-Up
Assalaamu'alaikum. Journal, alhamdulillah today I could help my wife prepare for our breakfast and morning routine such as taking my daughter while heating up the motorbike and cleaning the house (though it is still far from being normally clean). Even better, I could finish the journal of this last one week by adding the closing words. This is kind of weird, but having a piece of writing without an adequate closing for me is something imperfect.
Alhamdulillah I was not late this morning. However, it started to rain by the time I was in the middle of the way to my daughter's nanny. Thus we should stop to put on our raincoats, which means it took us around three minutes for doing that. Alhamdulillah (again) my daughter was quite easy this morning. She did not cry when we left her for school.
Here is the list of things I need to do today:
- Doing sholat Dhuha.
- Check listing students' attendance.
- Teaching Reading where students need to finish their SLC design and I need to conduct a one on one reading speed test.
- Asking Ms. Deasy when students can have a consultation.
- Reminding HTs in the WA group of English Matrix today.
- Co-leading morning meeting with reciting only Al Fatihah, Three Qulhus, Ayat Kursi, and prayer before studying.
- Checking comment folder if there is any other comment to proofread.
- Taking fastener from Administration Room for students' portfolio.
- Reminding students of finishing SLC design as soon as possible and submitting it to GC.
- Reminding students of the video book review.
- Reminding students of the Book Day preparation: the costume and scene.
- Creating action verbs for the mimic games for the Book Day.
- Attending a meeting where Al Azhar Boarding School is promoting their APIC program.
- Proofreading 2 Umar's Math comments.
- Forwarding info about APIC in parents' WA group.
- Testing students' reading speed in 5 Umar (most of them are done) and 5 Ali (only 3).
- Asking students to continue making their portfolio's front cover. 5 Ali only Allea started and 5 Umar most of them almost finished (only Hanna who's completely finished).
