Wednesday: The Day to Start Discussing SLC Preparation

Assalaamu'alaikum. Journal, yesterday I went home as early as possible due to the weather. Yesterday, by 3.15 p.m. the sky was so dark therefore I asked my wife to go home as soon as possible. Alhamdulillah that we could get home before the rain fell. Then we did not get trapped at school. However, as a consequence, I left some of the to-do list of yesterday unfinished. Then I need to get them finished today. Along with the other things, here is the to-do list for today:

1. Grading some of the students' work.
2. Check listing students' attendance list.
3. Continuing displaying students' work on the display board.
4. Finishing English term 3 rubric.
5. Starting discussing preparation for SLC in both 5 Ali and 5 Umar. This is my main agenda today. So, I explained the goal of this SLC, then how grade 5 will do it. Then, I got them start working on that. The list of subjects is attached on the classwork on GC. 
6. Finding and printing a handwriting practice worksheet.
7. Getting Elvan and Fairel do it.
8. Teaching Tilawati.
9. Testing reading level in the library.
10. Checking the reading level test and announcing the results on HT's WA group.
11. Printing levels purple, white and orange worksheets for reading test.
12. Teaching 5 Umar Social Studies: colonialism where students did the KWL chart and watched the video.
