Thursday: Disappointment of Students' Absence of Responding to Instructions

Assalaamu'alaikum. Although today I was late for the welcoming duty, but I wasn't late according to teachers' arrival time. Then I only wore slippers as yesterday, when I went home, I only wore them due to the cloudy weather. I was afraid if on the way home, the rain would fall, though in fact it didn't. This morning, alhamdulillah at least I could do my morning duty for 15 minutes. Then, the rest of the morning went normally. However, I got a little upset as some students didn't bring normal Thursday uniform (they had PE today) although I reminded them for several times. Additionally, some students didn't get their reading log checked. As a consequence, I asked these students to do a reading worksheet to replace that absence. Anyway, here is the list of things I've done today:

1. Checking students' reading log
2. Checking students' reading work
3. Telling Mr. Adi & Mr. Rizka that 5 Umar's speaker to CPU connector is broken
4. Continue drafting week 6 weekly plan
5. Uploaded Term 3 Overview
6. Asking Elvan, Queena, & Alisha to do a reading worksheet as they did not get their reading log checked
7. Teaching Tilawati

Another trouble happened again when before sholat Dzuhur, some of the boys played hide and seek in the auditorium even when the adzan has called them. It definitely got me really angry. Thanks God that I saw Darma and then he told me that the other boys were playing hide and seek. 

Alhamdulillah the last session went well. Although I taught another class, but when I went back to my classroom to take something that I missed, I saw them being involved in the lesson. No wonder that Art is one of their favorite lessons. And lucky for me that Miss Nilna helped me with 5 Umar's dismissal. 

After this, the next agenda was discussing SLC plan in 5 Ali. That Included discussion about preparation for the field trip. Aside from that, I also managed to complete doing the following things:

• Uploading YouTube videos about trash problem and management as part of GP on GC
• Scheduling week 6 weekly plan on GC
• Proofreading SLCE Term 3 letter
• Discussing the level test correcting part with Mr. Rizka
• Discussing SLC plan and fieldtrip essentials with Ms. Ana
• Scheduling the SLC info on GC

Alhamdulillah I could lots of things despite the disappointment that I had today. Thanks Allah. Bismillah barakah. Aamiin. Wassalaamu'alaikum.
