Monday: Burdens Moved Away
Assalaamu'alaikum. Journal, alhamdulillah the burdens that came out in the last week already moved away and the tensions have went down. Alhamdulillah step by step jobs done and problems solved.
We finally did the observation of the future grade 1 students. It went quite well except for the fact that we forgot to inform the security about it. Lucky that Mr. Adi helped us by informing the security coordinator. Aside from that, 1 student asked for a rescheduling and another student did not showed up. When Miss Nita contacted, they say they forgot. Then, 2 student candidates withdrew their application. Therefore, 2 students haven't got observed yet and it left two remaining seats for the Academic Year 2023/2024. When I reported to the Principal and Vice Principals, if we need to reopen the system, Ms. Vita said that we need to text the "animo" first before reopening the admission system.
The second burden, about the khataman in our neighborhood, finally we had a reason to skip it, i.e. to see the doctor. So, for more than one week, I and my daughter had a cough which did not get recovered yet. Therefore, we decided to see the doctor again. Alhamdulillah, after taking the medicine for three times, my cough seemed to be disappearing.
Losing the these burdens has made me feel better. Therefore, when I got to school this morning, I felt positive even though I was 5 minutes late. Therefore, I'm ready to do the following things:
- Leading testimony and morning meeting.
- Check listing students' attendance.
- Changing the water of my desk plant.
- Preparing a banner to stick students' packaging.
- Printing English worksheet: The Term 3 Test, and Making Inferences.
- Continuing checking Ms. Lia's Math comment.
- Continuing grading students' work.
- Finding and printing worksheets for English Matrix and Intensive English this week.
- Helping Ms. Vita write a postponement of school visit letter.
- Discussing student admission this with Miss Nita: that animo+reschedule+waitlist make a class for the next observation, including checking the grade 2 student candidate (they haven't had final response yet), then telling Ms. Riri that.
