What I Did Today that Made Me Proud
Having Maudy Ayunda's "Dear Tomorrow" is definitely one of the blessings that I have been given. In many cases, what Maudy wrote is very actual and relates to my life. Therefore, whenever I read it, my heart resonates and my whole self gets uplifted. Moreover, her English is really good though in fact she is not a native English, but instead, an active English learner. Aside from fictions, I would rank the book at the top-most favorite book of mine.
So, tonight I read her book (again) and my heart got struck by the question "What was one thing that you did today that made you proud?" Right after that, I plugged off my being-charged phone and opened Blogger. I just randomly energized by the question and started to write this post.
Among several jobs that I completed today, what made me proud the most are:
- Finished copying English worksheets (then handing them out to HTs)
- Finding a worksheet for Reading class tomorrow on twinkl.com
- Putting back the remaining report paper
- Teaching Javanese and Social Studies
- Making a deal about the plan to re-survey field trip destination tomorrow at 10
- Posting English, Numeracy and Social Studies classwork
