In order to adjust its old profile with the currently running "Kurikulum Merdeka", Yayasan Pendidikan Al Azhar redefines its learner profile characteristics as follows:

1. Understand 6 pillars of faith 

2. Understand and practice 5 pillars of Islam

3. Accostumed to do jamaah 5-time prayers and sunnah prayers appropriately

4. Accustomed to read/recite Al-Qur’an appropriately 

5. Accustomed to memorize Al-Qur’an  (Juz 30)

6. Accustomed to say Kalimat Thayyibah

7. Appropriately dressed (aurat covered)

8. Honest

9. Accustomed to donate to charity

10. Like doing sunnah fasting

11. Keep Wudhu at most of the time
