I wrote this on Friday morning, as I was busy yesterday. It was quite hectic yesterday, because for a few hours, the electricity went off. Actually PLN already gave us prior notice, so that we could be prepared for carrying out lessons in that condition. Lucky that it lasted for 3 hours only, starting from 10.30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The lessons affected by this were only Civic Education and Science Cambridge, whom I handle my self. English, which is the 'superstar' in the school (as it is taught by Ms. Tara), wasn't affected at all because it came before the blackout. Aside from that, (I just knew it yesterday) alhamdulillah the school has a genset. Therefore, although it went blackout, we could get back connected to electricity and internet. 

As I knew that there was going to be a blackout, I thought that Science, the last lesson of the day, would be much affected. The topic was about boiling and melting points, therefore I would conduct a simple experiment on them, and show students on my PC's camera. I wanted to use the camera since it can spotlight a wider area. However, as I knew that I wouldn't be able to use this device, I didn't prepare anything but a worksheet to work on together. Then, for Civic Education I also made a classwork on google classroom with google form. I did this because I wanted to spend the rest of the time to discuss a very serious with all students.

So, in English, Ms. Tara detected that Kamil, one of the students, took an idea for his written story from the internet. It's very serious because when we let it happen in the future, it will allow them to do plagiarism. Therefore, I feel like needing to make them understand the seriousness of this issue. Then, Kamil used words that children of his age are supposed not to use yet, something like 'marijuana'. Therefore, it is also crucial to educate them to be more careful in using words when they're writing a story. The discussion went hot and they seemed understand the values. They even were very curious who did the writing as Ms. Tara and I didn't tell them it was Kamil. The next time I need to do is to discuss this with Kamil in private. Hopefully today at the break Time.
