Assalaamu'alaikum. Hi man. What's up? I'm back here to journal may teaching activities on a daily basis. It has to my attention that journaling is very beneficial to make e records of my teaching practices. 

Today I started my day with setting up the computer and and room. Three students already came. They were chit-chatting and when I came, they greeted me with salam. I'm so glad that this saying salam culture is already instilled in themselves. I just need to "fertilize" it with doing it consistently. Right after that, I opened the windows, turned on all devices needed, and had some breakfast. As I was in a hurry, I didn't buy anything to eat on the way to school. Therefore, I just ate some biscuits I've got in my bag. My wife gave me that several days ago. 

Getting my breakfast done, I started to opened all the files I needed for the daily morning routines: testimony, Asmaul Husna, online Qur'an, and zoom meeting of course. Then, for a short while, I checked out my weekly plan to see what to do. Having finished opening all I needed, when it was 07.25, I led students to go to Art Room for PE. It's on the 5th floor. Don't be shocked to hear this, because we don't have any indoor gym room yet, so Art Room is the most possible room to use. It's large enough for them them to do different moves. They still have that focus on some basic gymnastics moves. 

Before started having PE, they could hang out a little while in the room as Mr. Adi was setting up all the tools he needed. When he was ready, he asked me to wait at the Library. Waiting there, I remembered to do something, i.e. grading students' work, then I went back to class to take my grade sheet. Then when I got to the class, I remembered that I needed to do sholat Dhuha first. then I did it. After Dhuha, I went back upstairs at the Library, but when I got there, I just remembered that I Ms. Asked me to help her proofread Fatima's text about the story of the Prophet Yunus. Then I started to proofread it. 

After PE, all students went back to our classroom for a break. While they were having a break, I printed Javanese worksheet that I was gonna use today. When the "PE break" was over, we did testimony and morning meeting. After that, we did Javanese where we talked about Wayang Pandhawa. After that, we had another break time, the regular one for 10 minutes only, because we finished Javanese 5 minutes late. After the break, we had Tilawati in our own classes. My class, the level 2 one, had it in 4 Ali classroom. I was quite nervous that time because I couldn't find the media that was shared in a WA group (which I didn't remember). Then I decided to not to use the media, but instead went straight away to reading the book. Alhamdulillah it went quite smoothly. 

After Tilawati I taught Javanese in 4 Umar. We did the same activity as the one I did earlier with 4 Ali. However, it always takes longer time for 4 Umar to get ready for any class. Therefore, around 8 minutes were wasted. To get them silent, I told them the importance of learn and study hard for the sake of Check Point and ASPD tests. This trick worked quite well. They listened to me right away. Then, we did the activities and alhamdulillah it went well, although we finished 5 minutes late. After that was home time. I took them to the hallway, which we make pick up area. I stayed there until all grade 4 students already got picked up. 

I wen back to class right after that to have lunch and carry on working with the unfinished story of the Prophet Yunus proofreading, assigning observers for student admission, and grading students' work.
