A Note from Sunday:

So, because Ms. Vita and I still have three meetings of English CCPT this week, one face-to-face and two online, we needed to prepare three sets of materials. My part was Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Part one is about filling in a blank space of a sentence where for each question, three answer options are provided. The answers are about choice of words that best fill in the space. Meanwhile, Part 2 is about filling in blank spaces of an email or letter, with no answer options provided. However, the coherency and cohesive of the text provides students with contexts already. Then, Part 3 consists of spelling practice where for each of the word questioned, an initial and the words' meaning are provided. After finished making the question paper draft, I sent Ms. Vita that, along with the answer key for her to make copies.

To-Do List:

  1. Teach grade 6 English CCPT whose papers ara already copied by Ms. VIta.
  2. Host 4 Umar while having Tamyiz.
  3. Teach 4 Ali Social Studies where students need to identify three different jobs/occupations. Civic Education is moved to the time where they have individual project about finishing uncompleted tasks on Thursday at 09.30-10.00.
  4. Print Prambanan temple template, the file is in the chat with Miss Nilna. Download it first and put it on google drive in the 'material' folder.
  5. Finished designing Daily Planner and print it out, and students will get 4 pieces of it.
  6. Pack all the learning materials, tools, etc.
Completed Work List:
  1. Carried literacy class where students read an Indonesiak comic entitled "Semut" prepared by Ms. Rusna. They did not to answer any comprehension questions.
  2. Taught grade 6 English CCPT, Rajendra's group. They did the question papers that I made yesterday. They did a great job on Part 1 and Part 2, but for part 3, they found it very difficult. We have checked the answers to all the questions.
  3. Helped Darma finish answering question no 4 of the Friday last week literacy work.
  4. Helped Ms. Ana printed out Geometricity worksheets.
  5. Taught English matriculation of grade 4 where students learned to describe a scene. Alhamdulillah 5 students showed up: Alvaro, Daffi, Savana, Adelia, Darma.
  6. Made Daily Planner worksheet and printed it out.
  7. Print screened 4 Ali's Jobs & Occupations work on liveworksheet.com (they're still in the 'download' folder).

Note(s):
  • Again, because of the time limit, I forgot to ask students to write a learning journal. It was quite hectic as we tried to finish the Social Studies work on Identifying Jobs/Occupation which took quite a long time.
Reflection:
  • I need to be more careful with my classroom and time management.
To-Do Next:

  • Tomorrow morning, before the morning meeting, ask students to write their journal of Monday.
