Topic: Reflecting on the Practice of Writing Daily Planner

Class: 4 Umar bin Khattab

Duration: 2 x 30 minutes

Source: 

  • "OH, HAPPY DAY" daily planner template
  • A google form for the reflection
Steps:
  1. Review the practice of writing daily planner
  2. Ask students their feeling after using it: Does it make you easier to plan for your day? Why?
  3. Inform students that they're going to reflect on the practice of writing daily planner
  4. Share the google form link:
  5. Explain the questions in the google form.
  6. Students work on the reflection form.
  7. Ask students to write another daily planner for the next two days.
  8. Then, ask them to submit the completed daily planner.

  1. Print Week 6 Weekly Plan.
  2. Carry out Individual Literacy 15-Mouse Madness.
  3. Lead morning meeting and murajaah.
  4. Teach Social Studies: Finishing the Summary on the Facts about Hindu-Buddha Kingdoms.
  5. Create a classwork for the Summary assignment.
  6. Design a lesson to teach English Matrix.
  7. Teach Tilawati level 2.
  8. Assign 3 observers for the three grade 1 student candidates.
  9. Check out grade 3 classrooms before using it tomorrow for offline class.

  5. Designed a lesson to teach English Matrix: Describing "Story Setting".
  6. Assigned: Ms. Uswah, Ms. Imas, and Miss Desintia to observe 3 grade 1 student candidates (would be carried on Wednesday, 3 November 2021).
  7. Downloaded some materials from twinkl.com and saved them in the English Matrix folder on google drive.
  8. Made a liveworksheet "Story Settings Description" for English Matrix students to practice descriptive writing.
  9. Taught English Matrix students and there was only keyla from grade 5. 
Note(s):
  • Kania didn't pass Tilawati 5 test and her level is downgraded into level 3. This is what Ms. Arin said: Mr imam,, mohon maaf banget,, hasil tesnya kania berat kalo dinaikkan jilid 5, jadi mulai next week kania join di grup 3 ya.. 🙏🏼 Padahal tadi dia udah pede banget maju duluan. Kalo misalnya nanti mamanya protes, bilang aja kalo sewaktu2 dia ready mau tes lagi bisa. Catatannya: panjang pendek, dengung, huruf muqotho’ah. Dengung & huruf muqotho’ah hampir semuanya salah.
  • Shafia and Alvaro didn't join Tilawati.
  • There was only Keyla from grade 5 who joined English Matrix class.
Reflection(s):
  • Design a lesson to teach Social Studies next week where students need to make props for a mini drama about Hindu-Buddha kingdoms. In the Termly Plan I have written with newspapers, but an idea just came across my mind to use canva (to make an avatar).
  • Text grade 5 students to join English Matrix earlier.
  • Approach Shafia by texting to ask about her absence in any lessons.
