 To-Do List:

  1. Text Mr. Aldian that Radya's status joins tahfidz, but according to his mother's request, he can't join the normal one. Then he has tahfidz with Mr. Dimas. What is his current status about the extracurricular activity?
  2. Text Bapak operator dapodik kecamatan Mlati that there's a teacher named Imam Hidayat at SD Islam AL Azhar 55 Yogyakarta.
  3. Discuss material to teach in English Check Point Prep Class on Monday with Ms. Vita. It's in the first session.
  4. Draft Week 9 Weekly Plan.
  5. Check out IPA Termly Plan for next week and create a material if needed.
  6. Carry out literacy with the text entitled "Fishermen's Problem".
  7. Pack up the healthy food and Science and Islamic Studies Books.
  8. Teach 4 Umar heat transformations and renewable and non-renewable energy source.
  9. Distribute the healthy food and Science and Islamic Studies Books Package on a drive thru.


Completed Work List:

  1. Instead of texting, I directly asked Mr. Aldian Radya's status about his participation in tahfidz extracurricular activity. Since, he does it personally, taught by Mr. Dimas, then officially he is considered not to join any extra curricular activity.
  2. Checked out IPA Termly Plan about next week's activity. I didn't actually check it out by myself, but Ms. Rusna did when we discussed a little bit the preparation of writing weekly plan for next week. The activity is about exploring and finding out parts of plants. We decided to do a simple experiment on investigating parts of plant using hibiscus.
  3. Packed up the healthy food (2 cartons of milk, a loaf of bread, and a small pack of cheese) and books package outside of grade 1 Ali classroom.
  4. Helped Darma and Adelia finish their literacy work at the break time.
  5. Discussed additional Math class next week because students need to catch up with some materials. 4 Ali will do it on Tuesday, September 7, at 8. Then we will do morning meeting first at 7.30.
  6. Discussed the change of timetable for next week with Ms. Vita. If I'm not mistaken, HT session is moved to the first session, because I need to teach grade 6 in the second session. Then, Math is moved to Thursday. 
  7. Taught 4 Umar Thematic's Science where we discussed Energy Transformations and Renewable and Non-renewable Energy Sources. Savana and Reinhard had difficulty completing it since their devices do not support the applicationto operate. Then I asked them to write the answers on a piece of paper and send it on google classroom. Until the meeting ended, Reinhard submitted, but Savana did not. Keenandro did not even say a word during the session. Alhamdulillah 11 students have submitted.  
  8. Distributed the package on a drive-thru after sholat Jumat at 1. Alhamdulillah it went well. Fatimah's package was sent via gosend. Meanwhile, Nail's, Kania's, Allea's, would be picked later or tomorrow then I just put them at the front security office.

Implications:
  1. Start drafting weekly plan tomorrow, when Ms. Rusna is done with hers.

Plant Body Parts-A Lesson Plan

Goal: Finding out the body parts that a plant has

Source/Media:

  1. A real plant that students take from their garden or anywhere and a real flower (if possible hibiscus) that they can stick them on a piece of A4/F4 paper
  2. An A4/F4 paper, or unused calendar, to use the back page
  3. A sticky tape
  4. Scissors
  5. Markers/Pens for labeling/naming the plant's bodyparts
Steps:
  1. Discuss what students already know about plants body parts.
  2. Define plants body parts, including types of each part: students may write it in their note book.
  3. Stick the plant and flower onto the paper. Make sure that all parts are well-stuck.
  4. Label each body parts with a marker (permanent) or a pen.
  5. Then write the type of each part. Right after the writing, they need to submit pictures of them on google classroom.
  6. Draw conclusion(s): plants have different body parts. Each of them have their own functions based on the types.
