Completed Work List:
- Carried out literacy with the text taken from the reading log text we sent home along with the other learning learning materials and posted a classwork about it on google classroom
- Led testimony and morning meeting
- Hosted Math where students discussed factors and multiples
- Helped Adelia with literacy work
- Created a Civic Education task with google form and posted on google classroom
- Hosted 4 Umar when they had Qur'an Studies
- Taught Civic Education about Indonesia's diversity where students worked with the previously posted classwork on google classroom. Until the session ended, alhamdulillah 15 responses were submitted. Those who haven't submitted: Radya, Alvaro, Nadia, Shafia
- Searched for a video of talking about one's self for the English Matriculation and found one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZn42zsbPN0
- Taught English Matriculation class where 8 students joined: Daffi, Keyla, Sava, Alvaro, Raihan, Nadira, Adelia, Hani. I feel like blessed to be able to open the whole English Matriculation program with an engaging initial meeting. In my opinion, some of them were enthusiastic, and the rest would want to take the risk/dare to try introducing themselves. I hope they can manage to keep themselves motivated
Today was a super day. I had some responsibilities to juggle that made me have no proper break time in terms of duration and quality. After handling the class' first session, where we did testimony, morning meeting, literacy reading, and have Math, I had no opportunity to spend my break time with something I wish I could do because I need to help Kania with her gmail problem and Adelia with her literacy work. Then, I needed to prepare a material to teach Civic Education about Indonesia's Diversity. Lucky that in such a short time, I could find a text and an image that might suit students' need. Then in the second session, I hosted 4 Umar as they had Qur'an Studies with Ms. Imas. When I was back in 4 Ali, I taught Civic Education in my class with the g-form material that I JUST FINISHED. After lunch, I needed to prepare a material about self-introduction and expression for the English Matriculation class. Lucky that I found a video that suits children of their age and capability on youtube quite easily. It was actually for the new arrivals-students who have just moved here with very basic English capability. However, another group of students, whom Ms. Vita should handle, needed to join my class because she got some migrain vomited. Then it doubled my challenge in teaching the new arrivals. However, alhamdulillah, despite all these occurences, the class went smooth. They did what I want. They dared to ppractice introducing and expressing theimselves. We even playes truth and dare. We enjoyed it. Then, after the class, I started to edit the video-the one I would submit for the learning video competition organized by the foundation to celebrate Independence Day. As a newbie, I struggled very much to find out what tools used to do what work. For that matter, I finished at 9 p.m. Regardles of the hustle and bustle of today's activities, I'm grateful for being able to complete all my responsibilities.
